Ginkgo Ring glimmers on the new NME cover
UK musician Victoria Canal appears on the cover of NME, wearing the Ginkgo Ring by Floa Design. Her choice of the Ginkgo Ring reflects her connection to elegant, meaningful design, mirroring her musical journey.
A Journey of Resilience
Victoria Canal’s career hasn’t been without setbacks. Early on, she faced rejection from a well-known music manager. Instead of giving up, she turned it into motivation. That resilience has been key to her success, driving her forward and helping her navigate the challenges of her music career.
“I just decided I was gonna use his rejection as fuel, to the fire, like: ‘No. I do have what it takes to make a living from what I love.’ And I’m so glad I had that experience because I think it’s important to experience rejection to know what it is that you really want.”

The Ginkgo Ring: A Symbol of Resilience
The Ginkgo Ring is inspired by the ancient Ginkgo biloba tree, a symbol of resilience and longevity. Victoria chose this ring for its significance, which aligns with her journey of growth and strength in her music carrier.
