Architectural Jewelry: How to Use it Wisely
Architectural jewelry is a sculptural object placed in a strategic place of your body. It has a functional purpose, which every woman should know. I am a former lead architect at Zaha Hadid Architects and I will share my knowledge of how to use architectural jewelry to your advantage.
What is Architectural Jewelry?
Open up your jewelry box and find your biggest piece.
- Is it the size of a matchstick box or bigger?
- Does it look like an abstract sculpture?
- Does it look similar to forms and structures found in nature?
- Do you see structural patterns that emphasize that form?
If you have it, please read my tips below on how to use it wisely to your advantage.

When and where to use it?
Architectural jewelry is a great tool to hold people's attention while you speak. For example, a unique sculptural piece will never go unnoticed in these situations:
- Project presentation
- Zoom call with consultants
- Meeting with client
- Job interview
- Your annual performance reviews
- Project opening ceremony
- Informal celebrations with colleagues
- Official celebrations with your work team
- Office seasonal celebrations
How to choose the right one?
Architectural Rings
Architectural rings are perfect for short presentations, where you need to point to objects or schemes. To make the most of it, practice a few hand movements. These will reinforce your words.
Architectural Earrings
These are great during one-on-one conversations. For example: interviews, meetings around the table, online presentations. In these situations, the listener is forced to concentrate their attention on your lips and the sculptural shapes. In fact, it is proven that words are easier to remember when associated with shapes. As a result, this helps you leave a stronger impression.
Architectural Bracelets
Choose an architectural bracelet for an event where you need to represent authority or inner strength. Bracelets are loved by leaders. They will be noticed by directors, executives, and CEOs. Make sure to build those connections when you get noticed.
Additionally, if there's an uncomfortable pause, you can gently touch your bracelet while holding a glass of wine. It's a great way to shift the subject and start leading the conversation.
The story behind Floa Architectural Jewelry
Floa Design was created out of the need for quality, functional jewelry.
Every time I googled architectural jewelry, I would find horrible, masculine cube rings or souvenir-like, small and childish jewelry. In my view, this does not represent an ambitious, confident woman and her dreams. So, out of frustration, I started creating my own innovative jewelry. I knew exactly what it needed to look like to help me wisely attract attention.
Aiste, the visionary behind Floa Design
Small gathering or large event — it doesn’t matter. Floa architectural jewelry will help you leave a confident impression and achieve your goals.
