Earrings healing time
Luxury honey earrings by Floa Design
Earrings healing time depends on where the piercing is placed. For standard earlobe piercings, healing usually takes 1.5 to 2 months. During this time, it’s important to keep the area clean and avoid removing the earrings too early.
The founder of Floa Design shares her personal experience:
“My ears took about 2 months to heal, but I kept cleaning them for a full 3 months. Add a bit of spirit on a cotton bud and gently clean around the pierced once every day. No need to buy fancy ear piercing solutions—just use simple vodka. Save your money for building your dream artistic jewellery collection.”
— Aiste, designer and founder of Floa Design
Cartilage piercings, such as those on the upper ear, take longer—typically 3 to 6 months, and sometimes up to a year for full healing. Healing times vary by individual, so follow aftercare instructions from your piercer. Also, avoid sleeping on new piercings or changing earrings too soon.
